Hauntings - a visual poetry exhibition

International poets come together for a fascinating show of visual poetry with a spooky twist.

artBLAB in collaboration with Poem Atlas has put together a captivating group show of visual poetry in Folkestone's Brewery Tap. The exhibition showcases innovative approaches to three-dimensional visual poetry and features visual poets from the UK, the US, Canada and beyond. Contributors include Josephine Carter, Sarah Cave, Stephen Emmerson, Alexis Fedorjaczenko, Lara Felsing, Stephen Mooney, Nick Murray, Jacqueline Nicholls, Astra Papachristodoulou, Michał Kamil Piotrowski, Vik Shirley, Sasha Stiles, Luke Thompson and Robert R. Thurman. 

A celebratory closing party took place on Sunday 19th November (4pm), and
featured readings from some of the exhibition's contributors: Astra Papachristodoulou, Stephen Emmerson, Alexis Fedorjaczenko, Stephen Mooney, Josephine Carter & Michał Kamil Piotrowski.

The Brewery Tap is the University for the Creative Arts’ research hub, exhibition, and project space in Folkestone’s Creative Quarter. The gallery regularly hosts student exhibitions and events, and creative research and acts as a space to test out ideas in a public setting. Previous exhibitions include Desperate Measures, Black Men Are Good and Out of Isolation.
